♥ From 2013 to 2014
This is the mandatory end-of-year post. I cannot emphasize enough about how awesome 2013 has been. My Korea adventures, though albeit short, were long enough to give me a wonderful piece of memory that will be etched in my mind for many years to come.
In 2013, I learnt a lot. I learnt how to treasure friends better, how to spend more time with my loved ones, how to be confident from within, how to be less lazy, how to be more punctual. Also, how to do things that I want to do, rather than live in the expectations of others. It probably just meant that I became more confident of myself and my decisions. That I'm not as self-conscious already and that others' opinions don't matter that much anymore.
2014 is going to be a very different year. It is going to be the year whereby I officially graduate and step into society. It is also going to be the year that I am going to be independent, hopefully not just financially but not in all aspects. Hence, for the first half of the year, I hope to spend the last semester of my student life to the fullest. (And to make use of all these student perks and benefits as much as possible before I am no longer allowed to.) For the second half of the year, I hope I grow into a real adult, someone very capable of managing myself well.
And... here's wishing all good things of 2013 remain, and all bad memories get washed away, and that we all start afresh and have a lovely 2014. Happy new year to you who is reading this! (:
