♥ A month of joy and celebrations.
It's February already! I guess I have already adapted back to the life of a student. I mean how not to, with FYP and presentations already swarming towards me.
Amidst all this, I still miss PG a lot. People who knew me will know how much I love being there. And it goes for all those things I love. Like NJMD, like CAC. When I like something, I am crazy about it. I speak about it every now and then, I feel tired at times but I never ever thought about giving up before.
As usual, there's the mandatory visiting. I met up with Lisa to go back, of course I wouldn't be back alone, it's plain awkward. Anyway, I was too busy last week to make it, but I guess me and RX will be back sometime soon, probably recess week. I guess I can't be back that often too because I don't come back empty-handed, so it means I have some cash outflows everytime I come back. I shan't name names, but it was great seeing my certain favourites. But it was sad cause I couldn't meet certain others who weren't working today! Besides, it's Rubee's and Yvonne's last day. All the best to both of them and they have been really helpful people, so Rubee, take a good rest before embarking on your dream career, and Yvonne our tweety bird forever, now you have more time for yourself and baby Leah. :D
Other than that, I have been utilizing my time in university quite well these days. Lunchtimes are well spent too. Trying to put together a CAC dinosaurs weekly lunch. I really miss the time spent with these old birds. Jianb, YL, CSN, Cyan, Shan. Gosh all last semesters already. I guess despite being a rather boring session, it was a right choice to go for Open House Recruitment with Van, Shan & Hanpin. Haven't laughed so hard for some time, and am really thankful that two years since DZ'11, but everything else stays quite the same. Same old people, same old feelings. <3 div="">
It was also good catching up with people who I knew since year 1, and knowing that two years have passed and that most of them are graduating soon, I really treasure the short chats with them when bumping into each other along the corridor. Bumping into familiar faces and saying hi, and feeling glad that despite being hi-bye friends, they still remember you. I also have some really awesome train ride companions this semester and thankfully, despite many dreadful modules, I have nice people in every class.
Besides that, CNY is just round the corner! And so is valentine's day. I used to be really fond of festivals and celebrations I guess, but grew up and realise that sometimes, those aren't that fun anymore. And valentine's day also meant splurges, but it's good in that I can splurge on people I love. Once in a while is fine. :D
