I went for a haircut, wanting to look really chic.
But all somehow, I always get coerced into some kind of different hairstyle. And once again, I look like this. A very typical schoolgirl look. In fact, I think I look like a kid. ): Stepping into 21, looking like I'm 12, is not a very good thing. (Okay I think I a bit over-exaggerated, maybe not 12, maybe 16.)
I am already planning my next haircut!! Somewhere in first recess week :) Think I am a bit too obsessed with short hair! Come come give some ideas! SNSD Sunny's hair or Lin Xiao Ru's hair?! Hahah I think Sunny's is too much for me, though I would love to try that sometime.
I am gonna hide in the house for this entire week. Do NOT attempt to ask me out. I will make a public appearance again from this weekend onwards LOL.

♥ July thus far.
Following the end of July means an end to my internship, and also some rest before school officially starts in August.
The last week of internship was pretty happening! Much work to be rushed, and happening lunches and dinners! Thank you for the farewell treats and gifts! :) And the best thing I heard on my last day of work came from Cheepeng: "You lost weight already leh, from the day you joined us." HAHHAHA EASILY HAPPY LEH.
Tuesday night was buffet night with bestest colleagues! I have been wanting to try out Chiso Zanmai for a while, and I psycho-ed them to go over. Food was pretty alright, but company was awesome! A great night full of gossips and laughters, and complaints whatnot. Thank you people for a very awesome internship! Your company and support! :DD (I am so going back to demand Kelvin for lunch treat!)
The next day after work ended was Kbox session with 4H. (Making good progress to avoid being a 'rare guest' hahah!) Great chilling time with old friends and the slow-paced life was such a contrast to the usual fast-paced work life. Still a bit unused to this.
And yesterday night was campfire night with CAC FOC'12. I went back for campfire night with Pris and Yuxuan. I thought NTU was far, but Sembawang was... :O I was SUPER lazy to go back after hearing and googling that it was at some very ulu corner in Sembawang. And it was pitch dark too when we reached. I could hear people calling my names but I could not make out their faces up close even.
(Anyway, exercise plan going well!)
Today was dimsum brunch with family. Brunch was at Yan Palace, as I thought my ahma and mum would prefer somewhere more traditional. Food was not too bad :) Afterwards, I met Jan Jan and we went over to Suntec exhibition hall for some IT cum fashion fair. Apparently, there was some career fair in the other exhibition halls too. People were looking for jobs, but we were looking out for clothes tsktsk. But having good determination, we dissuaded each other and we came out empty-handed?!?!?!?
I hope I end off my July with an awesome haircut! Hahah praying hard that my new short hair will look good on me.

♥ Determination. Belief.
You know what is one line I hate to hear? "Eh I think your face got rounder." or "Eh I think you become chubbier." Thanks ah thanks. If it was in the past, I would just laugh it off and then forget about it after a while. It isn't that I didn't think about shedding some fats, I always do. But my determination is real weak LOL and I kept pushing it off.
Until recently... I think I am at my chubbiest now. Seriously, like every other clothes don't look nice on me anymore. And I have been receiving many comments about my slightly chubbier face. But I think my arms are really horrendous now. Therefore, today, I decided to get my act together. Hopefully, exercise starts tomorrow. You know, I always say one thing and do another right?
But anyway, Ruixian and I went back to Gucci today to visit. That is also what I hear! That I got chubbier. ): Regina says true friends tell you the truth, and the truth is that I got rounder. ): Anyway, seeing Yvonne and her healthy baby in her bulging stomach, hearing that Hana is pregnant and Regina is getting married soon really makes my day better! Happy for them :) Also spent a long time with Ruixian talking about a lot, but sad that we didn't exactly talk to Rox! So glad to be blessed with these friends. :)
Oh yes, I have extended my internship (I think). Just need the final confirmation from my director. Honestly, it was a great experience here and I really learn a lot. And also similarly am very glad to meet the bestest colleagues especially Kelvin and Suvina!! I really hope this friendship stays strong even when I am no longer working there already!

♥ My June adventures!
June flew by. Like seriously. 10 weeks of internship coming to an end soon. (Not exactly for me though, I am extending.)
Honestly, I cannot remember what happened in June. It was crazy work and mad tiring. Well, I guess the major thing was DrumZout 2012. And there, it puts an end to my year 2 life.
DrumZout hasn't been easy this year, or probably because I am of a much higher authority. With authority comes responsibility, and discipline should follow after, but sad to say, I do not possess that. To all my committee members who have helped me along in one way or another, thank you and sorry! Thank you for your help, and sorry because I know I could have done better.
I also have had quite a few meetups this June. 1 4H outing down yeah, hahah trying to break free from this 'rare guest' thing but obviously still not very successful. Also, one K-session with the usual group, meeting up with dearest Gwen, and ABCD for a short dinner. I definitely do not have the energy to go out daily after work, and I also know I have been pushing back quite some meetups. ):
Oh yes, Antonio's 21st! How could I forget? I really am glad for the friendship that stood strong up till now, it has been a really long 9 years and counting. 10 years down the road, we would have our usual once-in-a-month meetup with our families. :) Once again, it was havoc with Nunu escaping from her 'cage'. One day, one day, I will conquer my fear of Nunu LOLOL.
I also have had quite a few outings with the colleagues. And I am thankful for a bunch of lovely colleagues, which I would love to have as friends even after this internship ends. Durian feast (gosh 55kg of MaoShanWang is no joke) and Amazing Spiderman!! Okay I got to admit that I really don't watch action movies but Amazing Spiderman was too amazing, so please do go catch it.
Last but not least, I am undecisive of what I wanna do with my hair again. Some days it appeared short, some days it looked long. Some days it seemed fine, while other days it was disastrous. Should I go for a chic short look or the cute Korean waves? Hmm. One more month to decide.
