♥ Hello 2012!
2011 has been a pretty awesome year for me. No particular ups and downs that I can think of off my mind, but every other day was simple yet great.
I think I have learnt to be more contented, gradually. With every passing year, I seem to have grown a little, bit by bit, into someone else slightly different, hopefully for the better. I have learnt to close one eye (and one ear at times too), yet I remain persistent in certain aspects. In short, I'm just trying to make myself happier, yet not compromising on my own principles.
2011 started off well but little did I know that I will end 2011 with a bang too. Last month of 2011 was spent working. But while money came rolling in, I made lots of new friends too. I knew retail/F&B is something I would really enjoy for a holiday job, so here I am, in Gucci. Working every other day (PH inclusive) and being perpetually unavailable for meetups plus OT almost everyday meant that this job aint easy. But I have been enjoying every bit of it. With only a week left till school reopens, I am already starting to miss this place.
2012 started off with work (yet again). Actually, I kind of wish 2012 would come slower which probably meant it will take a while more before I leave. But time flew by so fast, too fast for me to stop and realise.
This new year, I have no new year resolutions. I know I will never set out to achieve them anyway. New year this time round has also been exceptionally normal and simple. But simplicity is beauty. My 2012 will still be as beautiful. (:
