♥ August thus far.
School has started so I might be in a grumpy mood. Because I'm once again floating around! Without sexay in any of my classes though we already arranged and tried to salvage after that. This sucks.
I did my first tutorial for 202. This is a good start, and it will only get better I hope. A busy year ahead, I'm gonna chiong all the way. But I will balance it with more good company etc. I think last year I was really overwhelmed by schoolwork such that both my semesters were just CCAs and studies.
Despite the rantings, I've had an awesome August thus far. Just simply rotting at home and taking naps and breaks whenever I feel like it is enough. I had an extended holiday till Wednesday because it so happens that my lessons were either cancelled or starting the week after (which is tomorrow).
The previous Thursday, I was doing NBS Welcome Day for the freshies. It was a freaking cooling Thursday morning, it was drizzling and stuff and the best time to sleep in seriously. I had to drag myself out to the school and stuff by 11plus and the whole thing only ended close to 430pm. Another mad rush off to meet DrumZout peeps at Holland V for a farewell dinner for Melissa. I love the Jap restaurant we dined in :D Damn cool "seats" and it was a nice dinner despite some hiccups along the way. Ice-cream from Island Cremery to end the day.
The next day, some of us met again to send Melissa off at T3. ): Five long months, take care Mel! Proceeded to play San Guo Sha at Eugene's house after that till about 1am, almost kena lightning LOL. So Saturday, we decided that the safest place to avoid lightning is home so Ikea for dinner followed by San Guo Sha with the gang (expanded lol, it became me Eugene Edmund Yingling Pak Max Alex Jianbin) till 1am or so again.
The highlight of this week - CAC Cynosure Ball 2011! Lingling was one of the contestants, of course I must be there to support!! :D Subsequently after I know Weiquan too, of course must support too luh! They did great (: Especially when they spent so much time practising etc. It was actually an awesome night spent probably because of the awesome company. A stressful night too, with meeting and 'interview' lol and being sabo-ed on stage!! Ohno, whats with the MEILIZHU thing spreading damn fast! Anyway, camwhored a lot but photos arent with me 'cause my camera is spoilt. ): Ended the night with Swee Choon dimsum which I felt was overrated. Only reached home at about 3am OPPS really thunderstorm liao and slept at about 4am. Shagged, like yet another FOC LOL. But a good night to end off the academic year. (:
Random thought: I gotta save up this month. Upcoming events: Shan's 21st, Mavis' birthday, Mummy & Gor's birthday, CAC Freshmen Pageant (Go Yaozhong and Cynthia!), the treat I promised Sis when I thought I was pretty rich but thinking about it now, I'm actually tight on cash now zzz.
