DrumZout camp was an awesome way to start 2011! :D Another event to add to a lifetime worth of memories! (: And I officially got to know people like Ruowei, Cuiyun, Vanessa, Cyan, Hanpin, Nick whom I haven't had the chance to properly know before. It was a good bonding session! :D
Day 1Day 1 started off with us slacking around and doing nothing. Alright, I do feel guilty thinking about it 'cause I have done nothing constructively. :X Anyways, spent some time brainstorming about what to do for performance night but did not manage to come to a conclusion.
Then, someone proposed a random idea of having a BBQ and HTHT-ing at the same time. So off they go to get food! Too much food opps!! What a waste. Anyways, I touched the eww-so-disgusting raw prawns and chicken wings. ): ): ):
While the others packed up, Melissa Yingling Canida Shan Yuewen and I went back to CAC room to get our luggage and then delivered the rest of the luggage to the rest. Eugene's awesome car saved the day yo! (: Did we break a record?! We had 8 people in the car! Eugene was driving and Ziyuan was at the front seat as well then there were 6 girls behind! Camwhored on the car and my face is in every other picture hahah, but at least my face still smaller than Ziyuan's! :D
HTHT-ing was in Josiah's hotel-look-alike room. Truth and dare were urm... Okay hahah let everything stays within that four walls of Josiah's room okay. And that begins the first night of drinking. As usual, Cancan and I refused to touch the alcoholic drinks so we had plain water instead. ): The tribal council aka Josiah was damn lame!! HTHT was till 4am gosh and because HSS lounge was unavailable due to some reasons, Cancan and I stayed at Lixuan's room! Yay I got the whole bed to myself! :D
Day 2Started off the day by meeting with the rest at 1130am. Shiok! Slept till 10am :D Cancan is damn hard to wake up and whatever she said does not make any sense hahah! Opps shan't say too much before she leaks out my bad sleeping habits.
Lunch was quite hilarious. We played 'Angel and mortal' and all those who haven't done three good things for their mortals start to panick and then all of a sudden, you see watermelons going everywhere! Everyone started buying watermelons for each other hahah but my awesome angel got me a whole fruit platter instead!! :D Fruit stall has awesome business that day!
Then it was percussion practice that day. ): I'm having such a hard time trying to get the right beat. ): Upset ): Anyways, some of the music were really cool hahah! Yays our DrumZout pails sound really good :DD And I taught the girls Gee's chorus for our performance night!
Following which was preparation for feel-good-about-yourself night! Hahah it was quite something like SP night?! We really should have applied for SDU funding LOL. Anyways, I was really excited knowing that we reserved seats at Watami but boohoos ): Because we were late and were kind of afraid that our reservation would have been cancelled by the time we went to Watami so we had dinner at Fish&Co at JP instead! While waiting for food to arrive, I went shopping with Yingling and Mavis :DD
After dinner, we went to Modiva. And that was the second night of drinking. Gosh as usual, being non-drinkers, Canida and I were drinking really diluted coke or something. And some cranberry juice which people claimed had no alcohol but I clearly tasted it but well, I drank it anyway but with tons of ice LOL! In the end, Canida resorted to drinking iced water, it tasted nice too LOL! Cabbed back to school and was so shagged we didn't go for second night of canvassing but just fell asleep once we bathed.
Day 3Day 3 began with Mac breakfast with the girls! :D Yays McGriddles is yummy, miss it so much! :D And then, started off by heading straight to Nanyang House but because the guys drank too much the night before and couldn't wake up in time, the girls decided to practise for our performance night instead! Couldn't learn the rest of SNSD's dance in time since I only knew Gee so we just dumped in Nobody and Sorry Sorry as well as Abracadabra! Yuewen was our live MP3 player :DDD
Percussion practice started off with me and Yuewen and Shan undergoing intensive training under Ziyuan Hanpin and John because we couldn't get the beat right!!! And then we went into different groups trying to play our own piece. Nice luh why I get the hard ones. Now more practice for me! ):
Then went to play some games! Captain's ball and Ultimate frisbee! Ultimate frisbee is damn funnnnn 'cause I was at least useful enough to catch something hahah. Captain's ball is fun too luh (: It's my all-time favourite game! Playing in the rain was awesome too. :D Oh and the random baby around then was really cute :DDDD
Showered, have dinner together and then it was performance night! Hahah our DrumZout guys are so talented! Guitar, piano and drums are nothing to them okayyy! Hahah had some live singing session. Some songs played were 晴天，说了再见，Forever love，天天夜夜，Soul sister, I'm yours and not forgetting the rock version of 新不了情! :DDD Hahah too awesome :D That's why everyone better respond to the Kbox outing invitation and let's go and sing our hearts out!! (:
Angel and mortal revealation hahah!! It was quite funny. My angel Max was ultra nice!! Richest angel in DrumZout! He gave me a Starbucks tumbler and a Starbucks voucher of a drink of my choice and that two were only one good thing that he did for me!!!! Gosh gosh gosh I feel so guilty! I hope I've been a good enough angel to Pak!! :D
Officially break camp at 1130pm but half of us stayed on for an unofficial continuation of camp. Once again, third night of drinking. We got the HSS lounge like finally! And then Josiah started this 'MY PROBLEM?!' and 'YOUR PROBLEM?!' and 'DON'T MAKE YOUR PROBLEM MY PROBLEM!' thing which irritated the hell out of him. Shouted at him but like he cared -.- I was seriously irritated!! I wasn't faking it to entertain people okayyy. In the end, I gave up and went to sleep after I managed to stay awake till Mac delivery arrived and I ate some Mcnuggets. (:
Fell asleep at about 3am and woke up at about 530am by those who were still HTHT-ing and the topic was so 劲爆 I just had to listen to it! Woke up to HTHT with them but alas, all fell asleep except for Max but at 6am I decided to let him sleep so I sat there alone waiting for people to wake up but I fell asleep myself LOL. Woke up at 8plus and left with Ziyuan Canida Josiah John Nick Max and we had breakfast before leaving but John and Nick went back hall first!
Ended camp unofficially by taking bus home with Ziyuan and Canida while Josiah went back to hall and Max cycled home. I thought Canida alighted at the wrong stop! She usually don't alight there but anyways, alighted soon after at Pioneer while Ziyuan continued the ride to Boonlay. Fell asleep at about 2pm after I bathed and stuff and only woke up at 7pm! Slept at 1am and today, I only woke up at 11am. Goshhhhh.
Now it's time to replenish my energy for Senior Camp tomorrow! :DDD
